SKI RACING INSURANCE


We provide insurance for Ski Racing.

The policy is issued by PJ Hayman & Company Limited and underwritten by Fortis Insurance Limited and AmTrust Europe Limited.

This insurance is a must for all those parting in a Ski Racing  in Europe , North Amercia, Australia or New Zealand .

The Medical and Emergency Expenses cover is to £10,000,000 and your Wintersports Equipment is covered to £1,000.00.  (see cover below )

Ski Racing

To take part in any of competive events, you have to be trained to Level 2 Certificate, which is available from most of the resorts, after completing a 4 to 6 week training course. Ski Racing is a dangerous sport and has reported 3 to 5 injuries per thousand during a ski day. A common skiing injury is a fractured or sprained ankle. Most of the injuries are caused due to poor landing.

Also known as Downhill Racing, this type of race is filled with sliding rails, which can provide an opportunity to show tricks and acrobatics.

In this type of racing events, the racers can ski anywhere in the designated area and are judged on the basis of style and technique.

The Michigan Alpine Competition Council (MACC) is a non-profit organization made of amateur ski racers who work as volunteers to run the main Alpine ski racing program for adults in the Michigan region. There race series covers 12 races over five weekends each year at Boyne Mountain and at Searchmont. It's open to virtually all adult recreational racers and also 15, 16, and 17-year old children of MACC racers.

Sandown park ski race club

The Ski Challenge began in 1985 as a Twin Cities Metro Area recreational ski racing program allowing adults to ski on teams in leagues, similar to softball or bowling leagues. Approximately 35 members raced in the first year of the program, today more than 1,800 racers of all ages participate per week. The Ski Challenge has evolved into the finest and largest team oriented recreational ski racing experience anywhere! As far as we can tell it is the largest league of its type anywhere in the world! Ski Challenge's continued growth, and long time commitment of its members, is testimony to the exciting racing and quality experience that it provides.
