General

What is the age limit on a Ski Travel Insurance policy?

Single Trip cover is not available to anyone aged over 65 years of age on the date of purchasing this policy.

Annual Multi Trip is unavailable to anyone aged 65 or over when purchasing this policy. If you reach the age of 65 years during the period of Annual Travel Insurance, the coverage will continue until the next renewal date but not after that. We would still be able to cover you but through a different provider.

We can still provide cover if you are older than these age limits. The Cover and Benefits stay the same if you are 22 years old or 65 years old. Please get in touch with us for a quote.

You must declare any pre-existing medical conditions (we cover most).

If you do not declare medical conditions, then you run the risk of, should anything medically happen to you whilst you are away, not being covered. So think about if there are any medical conditions that you want to declare to get the best policy. Please get in touch with us so we can provide you with a quote with cover for your pre-existing medical conditions.

JS Travel Insurance does provide policies, even if you have already left your home.

We can provide cover for Individuals, Couples and Families as well as Groups.

However, these policies are not available online. You will need to contact us for a quote.

We can only provide cover as long as you specify that you are not planning to claim the start date of the policy that you are purchasing.

If you have already left and need cover for just a 'one-off day for an Activity or Sport, such as Scuba Diving, we can provide a policy to cover that specific Activity or Sport. These quotes again are only available by contacting us.

That's because the GHIC card only helps you with the cost of emergency medical treatment - it doesn't provide cover for several things that Travel Insurance does, such as

Repatriation - Cost of bringing you back to the UK if you require urgent medical treatment or your body if you die whilst overseas.

Theft or Loss - If you lose luggage, phone or passport or are the victim of theft, your cover may be able to help.

Other costs - If you are injured or ill on holiday, your cover may include further transport for medical treatment, as well as flights and extra accommodation.
