No, you don’t, but you should have one, as you will be asked at immigration when you enter the USA.
4. Can I upgrade my Policy from Activity 2 to Activity 4 while in the USA?
Yes, you can, but you must do this before you start participating in Wintersports Activities included in Tier 4 and confirm in writing that you have no claims pending.
5. Can I ski or snowboard in Canada on a USA Ski Season Policy?
Yes, you can, as the territorial limit for this Policy is Worldwide, which includes Canada.
6. Can I get supplementary insurance in the USA for the Season?
You can; a reasonable Insurance company is Trawick International, which has a wide selection of policies.
7. What is the maximum length of my Ski season insurance or USA?
We can provide a Policy for up to 18 months to cover you for two seasons if you can.
8. How long is the Season in the USA?
It starts earlier than France or Italy, usually in mid-late November and often ends early April. However, some resorts like Mammoth are open to late May, even early June.
9. Can I extend my Policy while I am in the USA?
