Work permit for working a Ski Season in Austria

Before getting a Work Permit, you need to obtain a VISA. You cannot get the VISA unless you can show proof of travel insurance

You will need a work permit if you are going to work through the Ski Season.

The UK does not have a working holiday visa agreement with Austria, so you or your employer must apply for a Work Permit (Arbeitsbewilligung)

You can apply here at the Austrian Embassy or Consulates in Birmingham, Manchester or Edinburgh.

The application fee is 60 euros.

Once you arrive, you need to register with the local authority within three days of arriving, pay Austrian taxes, and  have Health Insurance ( travel insurance )

If you are not working, you are limited to 90 days if you are a UK Resident and will not be working there. You can still ski or snowboard every day. But remember, as a UK citizen, that will be it for that year for travel to the EU.
