The season starts early in November, as there is so much snow, and often ends later than in Europe, so make sure you have ski season travel insurance for Canada for the entire period you are there. 

There are no limits on the number of days you can ski or snowboard within the duration of the insurance policy.    

Seasonaires usually depart the UK in November, and it's a long season in Canada, which often ends in early or mid-May.

It would be best if you had ski season insurance for Canada, and your IEC ( International Experience Canada ) was valid for the duration of your stay. Your Visa will depend on it, and it's not unknown for immigration to cut short your Visa to the duration of your insurance policy when you arrive.

CAD 100,000 ( GBP 60,000) for Medical Expenses and Emergency Repatriation 

Personal Liability Insurance to CAD 1,000,000 ( GBP 600,000)

Canadian Healthcare System

Visa - UK residents must show a departure within 90 days of arrival in Canada. 

You need to obtain an ETA to stay up to 6 months - this is allowable to 75 countries, including the UK. You can apply for it here: ETA Application. The cost is $7 Canadian - about 5 pounds!

Six months is perfect for a ski season in Canada from November through to late April /early May.
